When God awoke from sleep a zephyr, blew in the sky and golden rays of sun painted on the canvas of mountains; when the fragrance of flowers carried with them a messageof love, small streams of water danced in celebration and birds of all feather heralded of a dawn so bright as if, there will never be a dusk again.

It is exactly this mood of exactation that anyone would love to capture in his work be an artist, a photographer, a musician or a poet. When I am talking about art let me also talk about work of a young budding artist Sheetal Rathod.

Originally from Rajasthan she has inherited a rich cultural heritage which reflects in her work, she had done her graduation in art and post graduation in Indology with the grace of god, support of her parents and her dedication towards art had helped to conduct this exhibition. A part from excelling in academics she has participated in groups shows and in many state and national competitions.

Her art exhibits intimidating amount of versatility her work mainly consists of miniature kind of paintings with her own original style. Her deep study of miniature art is definitely her speciality. The Flower paintings depict nature in the most unadulterated form, Apart from that she has also done some line works and semi-realistic paintings. But let me remind one reader that ''BALLADS OF CANVAS'' is a slight minomer to her work because canvas is not the only medicine of her paintings. Her work on wooden planks and pots in fact is a shade better then her paintings on canvas.

And as the old cliche goes a picture says more than thousand words; all I say would be reduntant if the render sees for himself her paintings which are on display at ''SUN & SAND'' on 8th & 9th January which incidentally is her first Solo Exhibition.

She work in all maintain like Stain glass, Hot Ceramic, Cold Ceramic, Murals, Pot Painting and Decopatch.
