The legendary Khatais,the direct descendants of the Safavid dynasty,established by Shah Ismail Khatai(1487-1524),that ruled benevolently over Central Persia. Their fame disseminated by the banjaras and travelling traders. It reached the glorious throne of Kashmir. And then from the terrains of Persia, they started towards the new destiny.
Khatais started their operation in Banglore by the year 1951. At first it was only a simple beginning, but within a short span of time khatais acquired the confidence of Banglore.
In 1970 Khatai?s opened the showroom in Malabar Hotel and by 1977 in MG Road, Cochin. By the first/latter half of 1982, Khatais diversified their interest to Agrofood and Travel & Tourism.
Now the Khatai products is being exported to all over the Globe. And the international tourists and art lovers who visit Cochin ( A South Indian port city ) make frequent visits to Khataisons showrooms, where every piece is of Artistic Excellence and available at reasonable prices.
Mr G.M. Khatai, Gulshan, is the Chief Executive Officer, of Khataisons, with over four decades of total involvement and practical experience in trade and commerce.The invaluable qualities of trustworthiness, punctuality and transperency of deals are inherited from centuries and several generations.
