KRIS KREATIONS started when ANEIL, a Chemical Engineer found creating INDIAN HANDICRAFTS & FOLK CRAFTS much more INTERESTING than manufacturing chemicals. While looking for unique ethnic handmade folk crafts, a chance to travel to the interiors of INDIA, meeting the craftsmen, creating ethnic handmade folk articles of one's own design, brought him and his family a lot of happiness and satisfaction.
The happiness increases manifold when one sees before ones own eyes the changing fortunes of the very artisans who work with us and make these articles.
Recognition came in the form of the
First export order for Indian handicrafts
In 1990. This is how 'KRIS (KRIS-HNA, the creator) KREATIONS' started. Since then the work is steadily growing and the whole family is involved in making of handcrafted ethnic folk items.We buy directly from folk craft producing families in villages of India. We work with small hut family workshops who have been making the same sort of folk crafts and handicrafts for generations. We give them our designs based on the combined creation of the importer/buyer and us.
